Artificial intelligence and new jobs

Technology human touch background, modern remake of The Creation of Adam

I have wanted to talk about this for weeks because it is a huge topic for our sector: data centers.

In case you were not aware… artificial intelligence does not only need talent.
It needs energy. A whole lot of it.

And here comes the important point:

👉 Fossil energy is not going to deliver what is needed to sustain current demand plus the brutal demand generated by data centers.
👉 That is why governments and companies are already planning future infrastructure.
👉 And that means one thing: more projects, more investment and more specialized talent.

Data centers do not come alone.
They come with new technical needs:
• distributed generation
• dedicated photovoltaic projects
• energy storage
• robust interconnections
• energy efficiency
• cooling systems
• electrical resilience
• and above all… engineers who know how to work in these environments
And this is where you, as a renewables professional, should pay attention 👇

✨ If you already have experience in PV installations or storage linked to data centers: get ready, many opportunities are coming.

✨ If you do NOT have experience but want to grow in this sector:
you are at the best moment to start studying, taking courses, certifications or getting involved in internal projects.
As with everything in this industry, whoever adapts first, wins first.
As a recruiter in renewables and storage, my job is also to share with you what is happening so it does not catch you by surprise.
Because when clients start asking for profiles with data center experience… I want you to already be one step ahead.

This is my tip of the week.
If you are thinking about your 2026 resolutions, include this:
get ready for the data center wave before it arrives.
